ABOUT

Captain Compass Ship (CCS) is an emerging global wellness community rooted in fundamental human equality, natural intelligence, and prosocial, holistic values. We envision a world where respectful human connection, personal accountability, and human compassion result in improved personal and collective wellbeing.

Our coaching partnerships focus on developing clients’ awareness of their own wisdom centers* to meet their needs, honor their life, claim their desires, grow and heal, and operationalize their dreams. CCS conversations are respectful, direct, and honest. The success of the coaching engagement depends upon trust, accountability, client commitment and openness to the process, timing, and coach-client fit.

The CCS business model is rooted in realism, organic growth, and sustainability. We strive for broad client accessibility via diverse product pathways and pricing structures. As an organization, we orient to wellbeing and work-life balance. We aim to use solar and hybrid power, public transit, and purchase carbon-offsets for air travel when feasible. We are a human-run business and operate on human time frames including time off for rest, illness, personal and family needs, and holidays.

CCS Founder, Shannon M. Collier, has 25+ years of professional experience across the ecological, health, wellness, personal growth, end-of-life, and spiritual care communities. She has supported people across the life span: from birth, through the growth and transformation that occur in every season, and in crisis, death, and grief. She unites shared principles from these and other diverse fields of study in her coaching style, and celebrates her clients’ self-expertise, special interests, and personal cultures. She holds a Master of Science in Patient Counseling, Master of Arts in Spiritual Care, is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and Certified Fellow in the American Academy of Grief Counseling.
